Students Affairs and Disciplinary
Mandate
The Student Affairs and Disciplinary Committee is responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of students in the University, as well as ensuring that students adhere to the University's rules and regulations.

Roles
The main roles of the Student Affairs and Disciplinary Committee include the following:
- Developing and reviewing policies and procedures related to student affairs and discipline
- Providing guidance and support to students on academic, personal, and social issues
- Investigating and making recommendations on complaints and disciplinary cases involving students
- Promoting student participation in University governance and decision-making processes
- Facilitating the organization of extracurricular activities and programs for students
Compostion
The Student Affairs and Disciplinary Committee comprises of 11 members, including:
- One member of the University Council (Chairperson)
- The Dean of Students
- The University Bursar
- The University Registrar
- The Director of Students' Affairs
- One representative from each of the six faculties of the University
- One representative from the Busitema University Students' Guild
- Members of the Committee are appointed by the University Council for a period of two years and are eligible for reappointment for another term
